Well... on June 2,2010 I was diagnosed with GH and before the results came back I kept telling myself that I had it and I figured I'd dealt with it. When the nurse finally called back after 2 days of me trying to get the results without having to make an appointment at the doc's and she told me it came back positive I felt the world crashing down on me. As soon as I got off the phone with her I went into the bathroom to let it all out. I live with my mom right now while I'm trying to get back on... 3 comments

Well I've been wondering...about my friend. Since I told him my news, he's been so supportive and understanding about everything. Before I informed him we would talk sexually all the time, but since then we haven't talked about sex at all. Which got me thinking...does he just want to be my supportive friend; one who will be there for me just to talk to. Or does he really see hiself being with me romantically? I just found out about this condition that I have. It's all still so new to me. My initial reaction was the worst. All I could think about was how my future is going to be. Everyone would agree that life is not fair. You take the good with the bad, yet it seems that much harder once your labeled with the big H. How do you trust that the next person is not hiding something? How do you know that they are not telling just half the story? I have met other females with Herpes and they stated that it is under control you don't have to tell if you don't want just use a condom. Which lead me to wonder how many are out there not telling and are just putting total faith in a... One comment

how many of you have sent an email to someone and they just read it and did not reply? I am not just talking about this site but others as well. wouldn't it be sensible for someone to at least talk to another person on just a friendship basis? then after that see if something else blossoms on here? i just don't understand. anyway i was just wondering if anyone feels the same way!!! 10 comments

I found out and so now I know. this was a while back about 8 years or so...I'm not sure what really went through my head. For awhile I didn't do or say anything, kept to myself and well it just got damn lonely... I feel so bad, for some of the people that are sooo young when receiving their diagnosis'. but the only thing that I can say, is that it is not the end of the world.
