If I am out and about you will most likely end up hanging out at either a dive bar or a coffee shop reading a book. Otherwise I am usually enjoying my deck, grill, and fire-pit, weather permitting of course. In my spare time I enjoy baking pies and other pastries; I always seem to have some sewing project I don't quite have time for; multiple bikes to maintain and build up; and figuring out how to expand and fully utilize the small area I have for a garden. I keep in shape biking everywhere (I sold my car last spring and have been carless since) and take a Krav Maga class weekly. I am the oldest of four (two sisters and one brother) and grew up on a farm in Iowa. I am rather close to my family and tend to visit the farm regularly.
